Colon is top of the Torneo Final table, and four consecutive wins makes them the league's form team but Godoy Cruz are only three points behind Colon, having won three in a row prior to being shocked by Gimnasia on Friday evening.
Argentina's bizarre three-season-long relegation table means this is a relegation clash even though these sides are both at or near the top of the championship table, and it's that aspect that will add the pressure, rather than any title race expectations. Both sides need the points that their good form so far this year has brought, and can't afford to let up.
It's Colon who seem to have the edge form-wise, though. They've won four matches in a row, conceding only one goal in the process. Although Godoy Cruz won their last away game, 2-1 over River Plate, it's their only away win in their last six away matches; they'd lost four in a row away from home prior to that one, and River are in disarray at present and nowhere near as disciplined as Colon.
The hosts are in fine form, and whilst their run must surely come to an end at some point, I think home win we can rely on one more time.
TEAM NEWS:
Colon is free from suspensions and didn't pick up any injuries.
Godoy Cruz's Claudio Aquino will be suspended after being sent off against Gimnasia.
Suspended: Luis Jerez Silva (red card)
Injured/unavailable: Jonathan Ramis (left foot); Juan Manuel Barrera (left knee ligaments)
RECOMMENDATION: HOME WIN
LOST ! (1-1)
